Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. Who we are
tv-aerials.co.uk (the "site") is operated by DIJITUL LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12532695, registered office: 11 St. John Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG18 1QJ). You can contact us by email at [email protected].
These terms explain what our service is, what it is not, and the basis on which you may use the site. By using the site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. What our service is
tv-aerials.co.uk is a free introduction service. When you submit an enquiry with your postcode, we pass your details to an independent TV aerial and satellite installation company:
- where we have a local installation company covering your postcode area, your enquiry goes to that company; and
- for all other enquiries from England, Scotland and Wales, your enquiry goes to a national coverage partner.
Our service is free for consumers. You will never pay us anything for using the site or submitting an enquiry.
We also publish general information and guides about TV reception, transmitters, aerials and satellite equipment. This content is provided for general information only. It is not professional advice tailored to your property, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for an assessment by a qualified installer.
3. What our service is not
We are not an installation company. We do not carry out surveys, installations, repairs or any other work at your property, and we do not sell aerials, satellite dishes or other equipment. We introduce you to an installation company; that company is entirely responsible for everything that follows.
In particular, the installation company that takes your job — not us — is responsible for:
- any quote or estimate you are given, and the final price you pay;
- scheduling, attendance and any changes to appointments;
- the standard and safety of the workmanship;
- the materials and equipment used;
- any guarantee or warranty offered on the work; and
- handling complaints about the work, and putting right anything that goes wrong with it.
Installation companies we introduce you to are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or subcontractors, and we do not supervise or control their work. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility under, any agreement you make with them.
4. Your contract is with the installation company
If you decide to go ahead with any work, the contract for that work is made directly between you and the installation company. We are not a party to that contract.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, when a trader provides you with a service you have statutory rights — for example, that the service is carried out with reasonable care and skill, and (where no price is agreed in advance) for a reasonable price. Because the installation company is the trader providing the service, those rights are exercised against the installation company, not against us. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights against the installation company. Our role is limited to facilitating the introduction.
Where you agree work with an installation company at your home or otherwise away from their premises, you may also have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. It is the installation company's responsibility to inform you of those rights.
5. Quotes, availability and coverage
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that an installation company will be available in your area, will contact you, will offer you a quote, or will take on your job. Any prices, price ranges or costs mentioned on the site are indicative only; the only price that matters is the one quoted to you by the installation company.
The service currently covers England, Scotland and Wales. We may change the installation companies we work with, or the areas we cover, at any time.
6. Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry, you must:
- provide accurate, current information, including a genuine name, contact details and postcode;
- only submit enquiries on your own behalf, or on behalf of someone who has asked you to and agreed to their details being shared; and
- be at least 18 years old, or have the involvement of a responsible adult.
We may decline to pass on, or may delete, enquiries that appear inaccurate, abusive or fraudulent, or that are not genuine requests for the services offered.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- submit false, misleading or spam enquiries, or enquiries containing malicious content;
- use automated tools to submit enquiries, scrape the site, or bypass our anti-spam or security measures;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the systems that run it, or the data held in it;
- use the site to harass or defraud any person, including the installation companies we work with; or
- interfere with the operation of the site or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We may suspend or block access to the site for anyone who breaches these terms.
8. Our content and intellectual property
The content of the site — including text, guides, transmitter data pages, graphics, logos, page designs and underlying code — is owned by or licensed to DIJITUL LTD and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may view, print and share links to pages on the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish or commercially exploit the site's content without our prior written permission. Trade marks, trade names and certification marks displayed on the site (for example, industry accreditation logos) belong to their respective owners.
9. Accuracy of site content and availability
We take reasonable care to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or current at all times. Technical details such as transmitter data, channel groups and coverage information can change and may contain errors.
The site is provided free of charge on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from faults, and we may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of it without notice.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales (or, for consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland, under the law that applies to you).
Subject to that, and because our service is a free introduction service:
- we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any installation company, including the quality, safety, price, timing or outcome of any work, any failure to respond to your enquiry, or any loss or damage caused at your property;
- we are not liable for any loss you suffer from relying on the general information published on the site rather than obtaining advice specific to your property;
- we are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable, or for business losses, as the site is intended for consumer use; and
- our total liability to you in connection with the site and our introduction service, however arising, is limited to £100.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights against the installation company under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit rights which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Your privacy
When you submit an enquiry we collect and process your personal details, including your name, contact details and postcode, in order to pass your enquiry to the relevant installation company. How we handle your personal data — including who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights — is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of the information you should read before using the site.
12. Third-party websites
The site may contain links to third-party websites, including installation companies' own websites and external reference sources. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites, and linking to them does not mean we endorse them.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the service or to the law. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. The version in force when you use the site or submit an enquiry is the version that applies to you.
14. Governing law and where you can bring a claim
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them can be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living in Scotland, you may also rely on Scots law and bring a claim in the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer living in Northern Ireland, you may also rely on Northern Irish law and bring a claim in the Northern Irish courts. Nothing in these terms takes away protections you are entitled to under the consumer law of the part of the UK in which you live.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues in force. If we do not enforce a right under these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms are between you and DIJITUL LTD; no one else has any rights under them.
16. Contact us
Questions about these terms, or about the site, can be sent to [email protected]. Please note that complaints about installation work itself should be raised directly with the installation company that carried out the work, as your contract is with them — although we are always glad to hear feedback about the companies we introduce.
